U.T. Dell Medical School - HLA Application Status

UPDATE: The 2024-2025 application opened Monday, June 10th at 8am and CLOSED on Sunday, June 23rd at 11:59:59pm. Application results will be announced around mid-August. The HLA program will have our 2024-2025 Fall kick-off during the first or second week of the semester.

Applicants must be 18 years or older by September 1, 2024.
Applicants must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at The University of Texas at Austin during the 2024-2025 school year.

Students from all majors are encouraged to apply.

Applicants must have completed at least one-year of undergraduate coursework by September 1, 2024. Students who are rising Sophomores now are eligible to apply.

When the application period opens, a link is provided on this page to access the application.
Students are not required to provide a resume or transcript and they do not have to complete an interview. Only a few application questions determine admission.
Applicants’ responses are reviewed and rated by 80-100 reviewers (on average) through a blind and random process to minimize bias.
Students are notified of acceptance by email before the beginning of the Fall semester.
